Learn to Ride Project

The generous donation from Allardyce was used to purchase specialized adapted equipment for our participants and pay for track rental, coaching fees and program supplies. Some of the funds also went to our storage and workshop containers. We would not be able to run our program without your support!

We have been able to double program hours, accommodating a total of 48 participants every season (both indoors and outdoors). 

We primarily accommodate children with disabilities, but see that our programs affect families. Siblings are encouraged to join in, and cycling becomes a family activity. Our program helps create equality for children with disabilities, they can suddenly participate on equal terms with their siblings and peers. Programs for children with various disabilities are limited. It is extremely important to get children with disabilities active and engaged from an early age. Programs like ours, foster their self-esteem and they become confident in their abilities. That is why our program exists and this is what your donation helped do!  Thank you so much!
