2023: $20,000New Playground Swings
On September 7, 2023, the St. Sylvester School and the community of Silver Springs officially welcomed a brand new, modern, inclusive and accessible playground, creating a central space for students and children in the community to connect, play and grow.
The existing playground was at the end of its life and slated for removal, so over the course of several years a dedicated group of volunteers and a passionate school community worked to fundraise and complete the project.
The impact of this project has been immediate for children at St. Sylvester along with the broader community of Silver Springs, and will be used for decades to come. The support from the Allardyce Bower Foundation was crucial to helping us meet our fundraising goals and complete the project.
