Light Up The World

2021: $66,400

One Arrow/First Nations Projects

Thanks to the generous donation from Allardyce Bower Foundation, the solar systems we have installed have allowed offsetting electrical credits for the operation of the culture camps and food security greenhouses equal to $600 per year.  One of the culture camps has power to provide evening light in the cabins which increases the safety of the camps held throughout the summer.  The Starlink satellite internet modems will allow more reliable and better quality communication with the reserve communities which improves the safety of the camps.  One of the reserves is looking at developing a wireless internet service provider system by adding networked wilan to the Starlink so that more reserve residents will have improved communications.  Thanks to Allardyce Bower again for helping to improve and make a positive impact on many lives with the addition of these solar systems!
