2020: $7,000Program Delivery Equipment
Calgary Youth Justice Society (CYJS) helps vulnerable youth to find their way through tough life circumstances and sometimes poor choices that can hold them back from reaching their full potential. CYJS has been serving Calgary youth and their families since 1996. Throughout the past 25 years, we have engaged thousands of community volunteers to support over 13,000 young people towards a brighter future.
Our organization relies on volunteers who are involved in direct program delivery with our young people. Allardyce Bower Foundation generously donated funds to purchase two essential pieces of office equipment that are required to do our work and ensure that our volunteers have the tools they need. The untimely breakdown of our printer/copier/scanner and a Volunteer ID Card machine was an unexpected expense, and their replacement cost was not in our budget. This donation ensured that our services were not interrupted in the short term and will have a long-lasting return as it continues to serve our organization for many years to come. Thank you, Allardyce Bower Foundation, for the quick action on our request, and your enduring investment in children and youth in our community.
