At Between Friends, our mission is to create a world where individuals with disabilities can not only exist but thrive. Our flagship program, Camp Bonaventure, is an inclusive outdoor summer day camp for youth ages 4-17. Each Summer Camp Bonaventure brings fun, excitement and positive social interactions to all its campers through outdoor-focused camp activities.

Because of the generous support from the Allardyce Bower Foundation, Between Friends is thrilled to announce that we’re expanding our summer camp program from Calgary to Red Deer, allowing even more youth with disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy, fun, and inclusion that our camp offers. These funds have allowed us to hire a full-time staff in Red Deer to help us connect to the local community, secure a “home base” camp space in the heart of Red Deer and begin our largest marketing campaign, including bus marketing, radio advertising and paid social media posts.
